Easter at the Britt Home.

My wii, wii fit, flowers and Easter Basket.

Eric is the official Spider Man!!!

This Easter was amazing. I had to work, and I was a little sad about that. I had to work last Easter, so I was a little down. I set-up Eric's Easter basket at one thirty in the morning before I left for work. He then came and saw me at work. I had a feeling he had something up his sleeve. So then when I arrived home there was a scavenger hunt for me. It was the best thing ever. I got to go around the house and find all different kinds of eggs with all different kinds of clues in them. Well, to make a long story short, I found a Wii and a Wii fit. I was so excited because I had been wanting a Wii for a while. He is so great. Who would have thought he would have something so great planned out?

Dinner With the Family.

As a family we were able to go to dinner on Saturday night for Kristin's birthday. It was nice to be able to have so much of our family together. Both sets of my grandparents were there and all my siblings and their significant others. I love having family time, it is my favorite thing in the world.

Thanks for the amazing weekend everyone. I love all of you so stinkin much.

Kylie and her first Easter Egg hunt.

On Saturday morning we took Kylie to the Easter Egg hunt in Richmond. It started at nine in the morning and it was beautiful outside. Kylie had a great time. Ashlee helped her with the hunt. I love being able to be involved in her life. She is such a hand full, but is one of the smartest little girls you will ever meet. I cannot believe she is almost 18 months.
After the Easter Egg hunt we invited Kimmie and Paul and Tina and Cade over to dye Easter Eggs. We had a good time experimenting. We made some great eggs. You tell me what you think. Also, Ava, Tina and Cade's little girl and Kylie are only a few months apart. I thought they would play well together, but Kylie was very shy. I think we all had a good time dying eggs and they actually turned out real well.

My lil Sis is 20!

Kristin came down from Twin Falls this weekend. It was her birthday on Friday and we had a family part on Friday night. It was a blast. I love when my family gets together. We had such a good time until we were going home and I got pulled over just below our house. The police officer gave me a ticket for "not coming to a complete stop" at a stop sign in Richmond. I was so upset because I have not had a ticket since I was 16. I guess I will get over it. The day was still so fun.

Enjoy some of the fun family pictures!

Easter Weekend.

This Easter weekend was amazing. Eric and I had Friday and Sat off and we had a blast. First we went to Baby Animal days with our good friends Cade, Tina, Ben, Heather and their kids. Eric and I had never been to this before and it was so fun. It was a great day and it was just so nice to get out.

I was accepted.

Well, I was accepted into the Master's program at Weber State University, in Nursing education. I am so excited and I can't wait to get going. I will start the actual program in August. I am graduating with my BSN on May 1st. I am so excited to being doing this. I feel it will not only benefit me, but others around me. I also want to be a mother who can provide for my children and show them how important education is. Eric is so supportive of me, and heck, I think he was just as excited when we found out I got in, as I was. He called everyone and kept bugging me to call my family and tell them. It was a great day, and we sure needed a great day, considering what the last week and a half has been like.
If you don't know what I am talking about I will inform everyone. Eric got into an accident at work about a week and a half ago. He works on rail cars, AKA a train. He got his finger crushed off between the two rail cars. The cars each weighed 300 tons or something. So, as you can imagine, it didn't have a difficult time taking his finger. He called me right after it happened and I headed out to the hospital in Tremonton. It was an awful sight, and I kept wishing it was a dream. Well, to make a long story short, he does not have a finger any longer. But we are so happy it wasn't all of his fingers or his whole hand. He is doing pretty well, considering what he has been through.
Right now in our lives, we are just thankful to have our wonderful family and friends. Thanks to everyone who has called or send cards. It really means a lot to us. We love all the people in our amazing support system, and trust, me it really helps to have such great people in our lives.
Well, I have some pictures of his finger before and after, but I thought they were too gruesome to post, so I will just let you imagine. We will keep everyone posted on his progress and what the doctor says.
Thanks again for everyone's support and for keeping Eric in your thoughts and prayers.
