Well, I have to admit that Christmas was a little different this year. I ended up having to work from three in the morning to three in the afternoon. Eric came and saw me at work and we had lunch together. It was definitely a much better day than I had anticipated. I worked with two of my favorite people, Chad and Jen. We made the best of our situation and had an amazing Christmas. I had the best patients ever. I truly love my job and I am blessed to have such a wonderful career. I felt so bad for my patients, because they were there on Christmas, but they never complained about having to be in the hospital.
After I got off work, I was able to come home and open some amazing presents that Eric gave me. I seriously can't believe that man. He was so crafty and so thoughtful. He does so much for me and I really am realizing I need to step it up a little. After we opened presents at our home, we went to my parent's house. We opened presents and had a good time. Then we were off to Eric's mom's. That night it was snowing so bad that we made it all the way to Lewiston and turned around because the roads were so awful. We called Eric's mom and told her we would spend tomorrow with her. So we went back to my parent's and played pictionary! It was so fun! I really love that game.
What an amazing Christmas, though it was a little different, it truly made me ponder on the meaning of Christmas.
Sorry there aren't any pictures, it is because my camera is having technical problems.

Fun Family Weekend.
So, I had such an amazing weekend. We decided to go up to Twin Falls and see my sister Kristin on Friday. We took my other sisters, Kimmie and Ashlee, and Paul and Kylie. It was a late night drive, but it was so fun. It was snowy drive, but Eric is a good driver. We arrived up at Kristin's house really late on Friday night/Sat morning. Eric and I decided to stay at a hotel that night for some much needed time away! Sat. morning we all went to breakfast together, but my parents didn't come up for that because of the huge snow storm. They did end up coming up later in the day. At about two in the afternoon we went up to Mountain Home, to see our good friends Tyson and Jamie. They have a new little baby and a new house and it was so fun to spend time with them. Later that night we drove back down to Twin Falls and stayed in a hotel again by Kristin's house. The next morning my parents made the best omelet's for breakfast. Then we played a game called Mad Gab. I hate that game, because I am the worst at it. After that we started driving home and decided to stop in Pocatello and see Eric's little brother. He is going to ISU in Pocatello. It s nice to have such a great weekend and see so many of our loved ones.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family.

Happy Holidays.
The time has come to get our Christmas cards out. Yesterday we had our brother in-law come and take our pictures. It was so amazing. It wasn't even too cold. Our new yard has some amazing places to have our pictures taken, as you can see. It was so fun, and I am so grateful to be able to do this every year. Today I mailed the Christmas cards and I am so proud of how they turned out. I sure do love my family. The pups don't really enjoy their pictures being taken, but they did okay. Thanks to Paul for taking such great pictures. I sure love them and hope you do too. Happy Holidays to everyone!

Thanksgiving fun!
Well, I have never been a huge fan of Thanksgiving. But, recently I really tried to stop and think about what I am thankful for. I am thankful for so much! Sometimes I get discouraged and think life is so hard, and then I think of everything I am thankful for and it makes everything so much brighter. I am thankful for my family and friends. They are always there for me through everything. I love each and everyone of them with all of my heart. I am then thankful for my health and well being. I am so grateful that I can accomplish things and work to become a better person every day. I am thankful for God and all he has given me. I am also thankful for my ability to care for patient's everyday. I love my job and couldn't ask for anything better. As for schooling, I am sure you have all heard me complain about how it is not fun, but I really am so thankful for the opportunity to be in school and to be earning an education.
Well, I guess that is enough of that for now. As for Thanksgiving, I was able to spend the day with Eric and his family at his mother's house. It as really fun, we ate lots of food and played games. I never take enough pictures, but here are a few, so you kind of get the point.
Then on Friday my second cousins came up from Ogden and I was able to spend some time with them and their families. They all went horse riding and shot guns. It was a good time, especially for the city people. HAHA. We also sat around and ate homemade soup and breadsticks. I love being around my family, they truly are the light of my life.
Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone for everything they do for me. I, sometimes don't say it as much as I should, so, thank you all for everything, I really appreciate the wonderful people I have in my life.

I finally chopped my hair off!
So, anyone who knows me knows I have always had long hair. I finally jumped off the deep end and cut it! I know it is not real drastic to most, but it is huge to me. I have never had short hair, ever! I didn't tell Eric, because I wanted it to be a surprise. I came home and he just looked at me. I could tell he was in shock. He claims that he likes it, but I am still not 100% convinced. I really just wanted a change and my brother's new wife is great at doing hair. I actually cut it into a long a-line. Eric, made the best statement when he said, he liked it but it was different, and then he went on to say, "what would you think if I came home with a mullet?" He compared my hair to a mullet!!! How funny is that? I think what he was trying to say was that it was different and that he would need some time to get used to it. But, it was so funny, I had to post about it. Well, I will get some pictures of my new hair and post them soon!

A much needed visit.
My little sister Kristin and her husband Jess are currently living in Twin Falls Idaho. Jess is going to school to be an electrician. He is very smart and is the top in his class. I am so proud of them. They live in a cute apartment and my sis is the manager of Trade Secret up there. They are doing so well. They live away from all their family, they are much stronger than I am. They are both really young and are still such an example to me. I could not ask for better siblings.
Well, to make a long story short, they came down to visit this weekend. It has been so great. We went out to dinner as a family at their favorite restaurant, The Bluebird. Then the Boy's and Ashlee went to the Aggie game. My mom, Kristin, Kimmie, Kylie, and I then went shopping. We had an amazing time. After the fun time of shopping, we went to my parent's house and played card games. I am sad that my silly camera had dead batteries or I would have taken more pictures of the fun times. But here are a few.
All in all, I am so thankful for my wonderful family. I have such an amazing family and I am so blessed to have them in my life. I love you all so much!

This is all new to me.
So, I am new to this, but I am going to give it a try. Eric and I have been married for 5 and a half years and are loving life. We just bought our new home in Richmond. I have not been working recently because in August I tore my ACL playing indoor soccer. I hope to go back to work by the 7th of November, but I guess it is up to my doctor. Eric is working a lot, and it makes my days pretty boring. I am currently going to physical therapy twice a week for my knee until I can actually function, normal again. I am going to Weber State right now and am almost done with my BSN degree. I can't wait to be finished.
