Dinner With the Family.

As a family we were able to go to dinner on Saturday night for Kristin's birthday. It was nice to be able to have so much of our family together. Both sets of my grandparents were there and all my siblings and their significant others. I love having family time, it is my favorite thing in the world.

Thanks for the amazing weekend everyone. I love all of you so stinkin much.

Kylie and her first Easter Egg hunt.

On Saturday morning we took Kylie to the Easter Egg hunt in Richmond. It started at nine in the morning and it was beautiful outside. Kylie had a great time. Ashlee helped her with the hunt. I love being able to be involved in her life. She is such a hand full, but is one of the smartest little girls you will ever meet. I cannot believe she is almost 18 months.
After the Easter Egg hunt we invited Kimmie and Paul and Tina and Cade over to dye Easter Eggs. We had a good time experimenting. We made some great eggs. You tell me what you think. Also, Ava, Tina and Cade's little girl and Kylie are only a few months apart. I thought they would play well together, but Kylie was very shy. I think we all had a good time dying eggs and they actually turned out real well.

Kristin came down from Twin Falls this weekend. It was her birthday on Friday and we had a family part on Friday night. It was a blast. I love when my family gets together. We had such a good time until we were going home and I got pulled over just below our house. The police officer gave me a ticket for "not coming to a complete stop" at a stop sign in Richmond. I was so upset because I have not had a ticket since I was 16. I guess I will get over it. The day was still so fun.

Enjoy some of the fun family pictures!

Easter Weekend.

This Easter weekend was amazing. Eric and I had Friday and Sat off and we had a blast. First we went to Baby Animal days with our good friends Cade, Tina, Ben, Heather and their kids. Eric and I had never been to this before and it was so fun. It was a great day and it was just so nice to get out.

I was accepted.

Well, I was accepted into the Master's program at Weber State University, in Nursing education. I am so excited and I can't wait to get going. I will start the actual program in August. I am graduating with my BSN on May 1st. I am so excited to being doing this. I feel it will not only benefit me, but others around me. I also want to be a mother who can provide for my children and show them how important education is. Eric is so supportive of me, and heck, I think he was just as excited when we found out I got in, as I was. He called everyone and kept bugging me to call my family and tell them. It was a great day, and we sure needed a great day, considering what the last week and a half has been like.
If you don't know what I am talking about I will inform everyone. Eric got into an accident at work about a week and a half ago. He works on rail cars, AKA a train. He got his finger crushed off between the two rail cars. The cars each weighed 300 tons or something. So, as you can imagine, it didn't have a difficult time taking his finger. He called me right after it happened and I headed out to the hospital in Tremonton. It was an awful sight, and I kept wishing it was a dream. Well, to make a long story short, he does not have a finger any longer. But we are so happy it wasn't all of his fingers or his whole hand. He is doing pretty well, considering what he has been through.
Right now in our lives, we are just thankful to have our wonderful family and friends. Thanks to everyone who has called or send cards. It really means a lot to us. We love all the people in our amazing support system, and trust, me it really helps to have such great people in our lives.
Well, I have some pictures of his finger before and after, but I thought they were too gruesome to post, so I will just let you imagine. We will keep everyone posted on his progress and what the doctor says.
Thanks again for everyone's support and for keeping Eric in your thoughts and prayers.

Master's in Nursing Education, What am I thinking?

Hey everyone.
I am applying for my Masters degree in nursing education. It has always been a dream of mine to teach nursing school. I would love to be able to make a difference in someone's life. I feel that I need to further my education and make something more of myself. For these reasons, I am applying to the Master's program at Weber State University. I am not so sure I will get in, because I guess they only accept ten students. I just hope that if it is ment to me, it will happen. I have just finished my application and I am going to mail it tomorrow. I am nervous to see what happens and how this will change me life.
Eric is so great at supporting me in whatever I want to do, and he told me to go for it, if that is what I want to do. He will be the person who has to put up with me when I am complaing about all the homework and how I don't have anytime to do anything fun. He is so great. My family is also very suppportive and I really feel like that helps give me the extra nudge to go forward and persue my educational goals.
Well, I will know the first of May, if I got in or not, so wish me luck! Or, you can really just say I am crazy! HAHA!

Valentine's Day LOVE

So, today is Valentine's day, and I have been dreading this day because Eric and I both had to work. I worked from 3 in the morning to about 4 thirty in the afternoon. Eric has to leave for work at about five thirty, so I knew we weren't going to be able to really spend any time together. For this reason, Eric and I decided to celebrate on our next day off together.

So, thinking I am a sneaky wife, I thought I would just get him something small and leave it on the counter when I left for work this morning. That way, he would come home from work at seven and be surprised with some flowers and candy. The whole time I did not know he was thinking the same thing. So I guess it is true, great minds really do think alike. HAHA. He left me my favorite treat in the whole world, chocolate covered Cinnamon bears, pink roses and another vase of assorted flowers. Those things weren't even the best part. He left the most amazing card ever. I cried when I read it, because he is so thoughtful. I can't believe I am married to Eric. He has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't know where I would be without him. I get teared up just thinking about it. I am an emotional person sometimes, but I have always been very emotional when it comes to my loved ones.

I just wanted to list a few reasons why I love Eric so much!

1: We are so much alike.

2: He is the only one who can put up with me, especially if I am in one of my moods!

3: He can always make me smile.

4: He has a way of making others feel good.

5: He is very hard working and is good at so many different things.

6: Eric is able to figure anything out.

7: Eric has an enormous heart and cares for people more than you would ever imagine. He loves his family and close friends and would do anything for them.

8: He treats me like a princess.

9: He loves me for who I am, no matter what.

10: He just knows me so well, I can't trick him.

11: Eric always wants to make things perfect.

12: He supports me in whatever I am doing!

Well, those are just a few reasons I love Eric, I could go on and on, but I don't' want to bore everyone.

I love you Eric, more than you will ever know! You mean the world to me and I am so grateful to have you in my life.
