Can't Get Enough of our Angel.

Kaidance has been so funny lately! She really has such a fun personality! I just love that she makes me laugh all the time.

She has been eating just about anything we give her. She loves to eat "real" food. She is not into the oatmeal or baby food very much anymore. She does love beans, rice, potatoes, chicken noodle soup, macaroni and cheese and spaghetti-O's. It is fun to see her try new things!

She has been walking a lot lately. She walks most places, until she falls down and then she will crawl a little. She falls down a lot, but usually just gets back up without even crying. It is funny to just watch her. You can almost see her mind thinking. She loves to get into anything, and I have to be on the look-out for what she may find next.
Her hair is getting longer, as you can see. I love to try new things with it, but she only holds still for about one second, so I am getting pretty good at doing hair on the move.

She has discovered a new love for cucumbers. She loves them! They are her new favorite treat. We were all ready for bed one night and I was eating one, she kept grabbing for it, so I told her she probably wouldn't like it, but gave her one anyway. Boy was I wrong! She loved it!

Well, we are still having the time of our lives. Kaidance is the best little girl and we couldn't ask for anything more right now in our lives.

New things Kaidance is doing!

This is just a way cute picture of her!
My angel, showing off her clapping skills!

Walking around at the Ball park!

Seeing if she can get into some trouble!

Her very first piggy-tails!

Eating vanilla ice cream, and yelling because I wasn't giving her more, fast enough!

Kaidance is growing so fast! I can't believe how time flies. I am sure I can't possibly have a little angel who is almost ten months, but it is sure happening.

Well, lately she has been doing some of the funniest things. She claps her hands when you say "YAY", she also plays peek-a-boo with her shirt. It is so hilarious to watch. The last little while she has been standing on her own and walking around the furniture. Today she took 4 steps! I was so excited I started clapping and yelled. As you all probably know, she got scared and fell down and came crawling over to me crying. I felt bad!! I put her hair in pigtails the other day. It is way cute. She has pretty thick hair. (I hope she gets her dads hair.) But anyway. Eric is so funny, he said he didn't like it because he was worried it was going to give her a headache. But, I am sure she was fine. It was way cute, and I will have to do it again.
Oh, and let me just clarify this before Eric tells anyone differently. Kaidance has her dad's attitude! HAHA. She has a little attitude on her. It is pretty bad. She yells at you if you don't give her what she wants. She will sure lt you have it if your aren't doing what you are supposed to be doing. When Eric and I try to have a conversation, she yells until we are quiet. Then when we try and talk again, she will yell again. It is really funny! But really, her attitude is cute now, but I know it won't be in a few years. (But she is so beautiful, you can't help but giggle a little!)

Well, I started school at Weber this week. Wish me luck, because I am sure going to need it. Working these two jobs, doing my own school and trying to be a sane mommy is kind of scary. I am sure Eric will argue that I am not sane! ;)

Oh, but one fun thing I have been doing lately is running. I run about 4 miles a day and it sure feels great! Kaidance is loving her jogger, and that makes it the BEST. We have a blast. I even talk my mom into going with me at times. It sure makes the summer mornings (or evenings) more fun!

Hope everyone had an amazing summer. I am excited for Kaidance to experience her first Fall.

Our Angel Girl is 9 months old!

Kaidance is nine months old. I cannot even fathom where the time has gone. She is the most amazing little nine month old. She makes me giggle.
She recently started clapping. I have been practicing this with her for a while. She stands and walks along things, but does not walk by herself yet. She has 6 teeth and they are so cute. She eats just about any "real" food we give her. Baby food is another story in itself.

Recently she has been sick. I feel so bad for her. She got a cold on the sixth of July and it never really seemed to go away. I finally took her to the doctor on the 28th. Her eyes have been gunky, and I felt like there was something more than just a cold going on. Sure enough, she has a sinus infection, an ear infection and she also has thrush. She is currently on her first ever dose of antibiotics. Poor little baby. She has sure been a trooper through it all. You would never guess she was that sick, because she is just the happiest little angel in the world. She is a mommy and daddy's girl. She does not like other people to hold her but she sure loves to smile and giggle for other people. She also loves little kids. She laughs and squeals and other children.

Her statistics are:

Weight: 15.14 pounds, 8 percentile
Height: 26.5 inches long, 19 percentile
Head circumference: 17.5 inches, 65 percentile

So there you have it! I have a nine month old. I can't believe it!

Happy 7 years to US!

I can't believe we have been married for 7 years. I feel like every year I get older, time goes faster.
I cannot believe we lived together for 6 years without Kaidance. She truly completes us. She means the world to us and I can't imagine happiness without her in our lives.

Well, for our anniversary on the 19th, Eric surprised Kaidance and I with a trip to Snowbird. We had never been there before and it was AMAZING to say the least. It was so beautiful. The first thing we saw when we pulled up was a moose. It was crazy. We had a blast. Kaidance was the best baby, though she had a difficult time sleeping at night.
Eric payed for me to have a pedicure spa that is on the roof and I payed for him to get a massage.
Next, Kaidance is getting her 5th and 6th teeth. She is getting her top two middle teeth. She is really a trooper. It seems like all the sudden her mouth has just exploded with teeth. Poor baby!

Oh, and today Eric and I bought a new car. I will have to post some pictures of it later, cause he has it at work. But it is a Nissan. It is good on gas mileage, and is something we feel comfortable putting Kaidance in. I guess that is all we can ask for. Oh, and it is pretty cute too.

~Beautiful Kaidance Khloe~

Not much to say after that!

Daddy ~ Daughter Time!

Kaidance Roo sure loves her dad! I found some pictures of her and Dad on my phone and I just had to post them.

Today when Eric got home from work, she would only reach for him. She cried some big alligator tears when he went upstairs to get in the shower. It was so sad.

She is one little Daddy's girl. (and I am sure he feels the same way about her;)

Going to the Park.

I talked my sister Kimmie and my cute little niece into going to the park today with Kaidance and I. It was a blast. Kaidance has the best time watching little kids. I even took her on the slides and swings. We talked Ky into going on a few slides that she hadn't dared to go on before. We all had so much fun! I just love my family! Ky is so cute and so smart. She is so good with Kaidance, and I love that!
Also Kaidance has been changing so fast these days. She now has four teeth. She has two top "vampire" teeth and her two bottom middle teeth. She has also had another cold that started on the sixth and just continues to linger on. I keep teasing Eric that she likes him better than me because I am always the one so suction out and wipe her nose. But really, she is a daddy's girl. She just loves being with Eric and would choose him over me any day! Makes me sad at times, but I am so blessed to have such an involved dad for her.

She has been crawling like a mad women for months now. She gets around so fast, it just makes me laugh. She pulls herself up to things and will walk around them holding on, but has not actually taken steps on her own yet. A few different times she will stand up on her own for a little bit, but then realize she is not holding on to anything and fall.
She also has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks. It sure feels like Heaven on Earth when I wake up. She sleeps every morning until around 7. It is so wonderful. I thought day may never come.
Lastly, she says "BABA" I don't really think she means to say anything in particular, but who knows. Eric was joking saying she is trying to say DADA, but is just messing up on one letter. I told him I agreed, and I thought she meant to say MAMA. Yes, we are crazy!

Well, I don't know officially how much she weighs, but I attempted to weigh myself and then weigh us both and I figured her to be about 14 pounds. We will get the official results in a few weeks at her nine month check up.

Sorry for the long post! I had a lot to catch up on!
It sure has been a GREAT summer thus far!
